Knitting for Olive Heavy Merino is a worsted weight, 100% traceable, non-mulesed merino wool yarn. Using wool sheared further from the sheep's body, this yarn is stronger and more rugged than the lighter KFO Merino, excellent for hard-wearing garments like sweaters. Its range of beautiful solid colors is and clean, consistent stitch definition make it ideal for colorwork and cabling. It is specially milled to prevent pilling and can be paired with KFO Soft Silk Mohair for extra softness and halo.

Sourced in Patagonia and milled in Italy, the production of this wool follows ethical, technical and environmental standards, ensuring a cruelty-free yarn free from harmful chemicals.

Gauge: 16-20 st in 4" using US 7 (4.5 mm) - US 9 (5.5mm)

Hand wash in cool water, dry flat.
