How long does shipping take?
Orders ship in 3-5 business days. Standard delivery takes 3-7 business days depending on your location.
Can I come shop in person?
You bet!!
As of March 2024, we have our own storefront in Wichita!
Our in-store inventory is different than what you see online, but we offer local pickup on online orders as well!

Do you offer local pickup?
Yes!
If you are local to the Wichita, KS area, we offer local pickup for online orders at our storefront in Revolutsia, located at 2721 E Central, Suite 104.
You will receive an email when your order is ready, and pickup hours are the same as our store hours:
Tuesday 12pm-5pm
Wednesday 11am-6pm
Thursday 10am-7pm
Friday 10am-6pm
Saturday 12pm-6pm
Closed Sunday & Monday
How do I wash my finished objects?
We recommend washing any handknit in cool to lukewarm water with a lanolin enriched wool wash, and laying flat to dry.
We offer both Superwash and Non-Superwash yarns. Non-Superwash should always be handwashed. Superwash yarn has been chemically treated to be able to be washed in the washing machine without felting. We recommend handwashing still, but if you choose to use the washing machine, you should still lay falt to dry.
There may be some color bleeding in the first few washes, which is normal. You can use color-catching sheets as a precaution - particularly for high contrast projects.
Is your yarn mulesing free?
Yes! All of our bases use mulesing free wool, sourced from South America (merino), and the UK (BFL).
Do you have a size inclusivity discount?
Yes!
Online Orders:
For a 15% discount on orders of 8 or more full size skeins. This is an honor system, and we will of course not be checking qualifications, but if you would like to take advantage of this discount use the code "fattaxfree" at checkout.
In-Store:
For a 15% discount on 800g or more of yarn, request the Size Inclusive discount at the register. (note: I understand this can be uncomfortable to request in person. We will not comment on your body! I want it to be available.)
When will there be more yarn available?
We currently offer primarily pre-order updates of collections of yarn. This is a dyed-to-order structure, so there is a wait time before you receive your yarn. This allows us to dye exactly what you want, and makes it easier to plan your projects before purchasing! Each collection has a different turnaround time.
Follow along on with Instagram and our newsletter to get the most up to date information on release schedules. This is also the best way to find out about occasional ready-to-ship updates!
We carry different inventory in-store vs online, so if you're in search of something specific - don't hesitate to reach out!
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide, except for to the UK currently.
US orders are shipped with either USPS Ground Advantage or Priority. International orders are shipped with USPS First Class International. The customer is responsible for any additional fees or customs.
Once your order is shipped, it becomes your responsibility. Please contact USPS directly with concerns.
Will you combine multiple orders?
Yes. We will combine multiple orders from one update that use the same contact information into one shipment.
Refunds for shipping overages over $3 will be issued when the order is shipped.
Do you offer yarn support?
Yes! If you are a designer and would like to work together please send an email!
Do you accept returns?
There are no returns on needles, hooks, books, wound yarn, mystery preorders, sale or clearance items, or any used or opened merchandise.
Other items in new condition and original packaging may be returned with receipt for a full refund to original payment method within 14 days of delivery or in-store purchase. No refunds without receipt.
Shipping charges for returns are the responsibility of the customer. Please email for approval before shipping returns. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
