Summer 2025 Shop Colorway

Introducing our summer shop colorway: “Dinosaurs Before Dark”, in support of Storytime Village, and an ode to the Magic Tree House books which played such a large part in my formative reading years 🦕

Each season we develop a colorway to feature a local Wichita nonprofit. For the summer, to go along with our upcoming Book Tropes collection, we picked a children’s literacy program! Storytime Village's mission is to inspire a lifelong love of reading for underserved Kansas children from birth to age 8.

From their website: “Storytime Village, Inc. is a Kansas based children’s literacy nonprofit organization. With the support of parents and the community we inspire underserved children to read by providing them with free books and literacy resources. We recognize that, for children, books open doors to opportunities, new worlds and experiences, and overall build their self-esteem. For that reason, we strive to give every child in Kansas an opportunity for a better future through legacy.”

$5 of each skein of Dinosaurs Before Dark sold will be donated to Storytime Village.

Classic Sock (pictured): Fingering Weight, 80% Superwash Merino 20% Nylon, 100g/400y, 2 ply

Classic DK: DK Weight, 100% Superwash Merino, 231y/100g, 4ply

BFL Worsted: Worsted Weight, 100% Superwash Bluefaced Leicester, 218y/100g, 4ply

All skeins are individually dyed with acid dye, washed and rinsed, however some bleeding may still occur. Each skein is unique and therefore colors may vary slightly from one to the next. Due to monitor differences, actual colors may also vary from what is shown. I recommend handwashing in cool water.
