Class Description
This class is for knitters looking to not only liven their wardrobe, but liven up their knitting repertoire of techniques. Instructor Christince Vumai, forever full of patience, will skillfully guide you through this impressive and beautiful pattern. Knit from the bottom up, this sweater will turn your idea of garment construction upside down! The colorwork of this sweater is created by knitting and slipping single strands of yarn per row. The challenge lies in carrying and managing multiple colors as you move along the pattern. Depending on your experience, this may be your first introduction to using mohair or Suri! Learn new cast-on and bind-off techniques, shaping in colorwork, and how to carry yarn. Please come to class with a prepared gauge swatch. Open to all ages, but children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a guardian with basic knowledge of the class material.
